TITLE: Middle School Science Teacher

LOCATION: Delphi Community Middle School

REPORTS TO:   Building Principal

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Science Education, Biology, or a related field.
• Valid Indiana teaching license in the appropriate content area required.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with middle school students.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Experience integrating hands-on labs, inquiry-based learning, and STEM activities.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Drive) and digital classroom management platforms such as Google Classroom.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues as part of a professional learning community.
• Commitment to supporting student growth academically and socially.

  184 Contract Days

  Salary and benefits established by the Delphi Community School Corporation Master Contract.
