QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proper certification and licensing in Social Studies as required by state law.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education, History, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. History, Economics, and related social science disciplines.
• Ability to integrate current events and real-world economic concepts into instruction.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
