Position Purpose
The Student Achievement Specialist (Title I) supports the academic growth and achievement of elementary students in grades 1�5, with a primary focus on students identified as most at risk academically. This position operates within a Professional Learning Community (PLC) framework and collaborates closely with classroom teachers to analyze student data, plan targeted interventions, and implement effective instructional strategies aligned to Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports.
The Student Achievement Specialist serves as a key instructional partner to teachers by helping teams respond to student learning needs through data-driven decision making, collective responsibility, and timely intervention
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana Teaching License with Early Literacy Endorsement
- Minimum of three (3) years successful teaching experience preferred.
- Experience with intervention, literacy and/or math support preferred.
- Knowledge of Title I programming and evidence-based instructional practices preferred
